Welcome to AYSO Region 232!
POST SEASON TOURNAMENT PLAY!
AYSO Region 232 provides post season tournament play to players who wish to extend play beyond the regular season. Teams are established annually based on interest and adequate skill level demonstrated during tryouts of AYSO participants and review of qualified coach applications. Teams practice throughout the winter and spring and participate in competitive tournaments outside the Verde Valley. Participation in traveling teams improves skills and readies players for the next level of play. This is especially beneficial for 8th graders that are considering playing high school soccer. Please review the post season play document found on the forms page for more information.
Tryouts will be held: Sunday November 15 in Camp Verde at Butler Park and
Sunday November 22 in Cottonwood at the Kids Park (fairgrounds)
1:00 for U10, 2:00 for U12, 3:00 for U14
SCHEDULES ARE HERE! SCHEDULES ARE HERE!!
Our fall season runs from the last week in August through the third week in November. Online late registration is through EAYSO.
On-Line Registration is open until teams are full. Players are assigned to teams on a first come – first serve basis. Registration is not complete until payment and a copy of the birth record for first time players are received. Please continue to register on-line. If we are unable to find a place on a team for your child we will notify you.
AYSO Region 232 provides a family-based, all-volunteer, recreational soccer experience for kids across the Verde Valley whose birth dates are between August 1st, 2001 and March 1st, 2011 (About 4.7 years to 13 years old on July 31st of the current year). Determined to be safe, fun and fair we are guided by six basic principles: open registration, balanced teams, everyone plays, positive coaching, good sportsmanship, and player development.
Everyone plays (at least half of every game), Balanced teams (new teams every year is fairer and more fun), Open registration (all you have to have is the desire to play), Positive coaching (more fun leads to better skills and motivation), Good sportsmanship (safe, fun and fair is more important than the score), and Player development (every kid deserves the chance to be as good as they can be).
Remember to register early for next season. Typically registration is open mid-April. When you register be sure to read all instructions and pop-ups. If you have any trouble registering your child with the online system please call the help desk at 1-866-588-2976. This is an EAYSO help desk phone number for the registration system only.
